Mississippi Court Expands Gun Rights, Knocks Employers

No, your rights don’t end at the edge of a driveway. Saying that employees cannot have guns in the locked cars is no different than telling them that they cannot have Bibles in their locked cars; or that their car radios cannot be tuned to NPR as they pull into the company parking lot.

JACKSON, Mis. (WTVA) — The state Supreme Court says workers can’t be fired for having guns lawfully locked in their cars at work, even if the employer has a rule barring weapons.
