Scarier than a loony with a gun: A loony in elective office

Despite the Media’s best efforts, Americans find gun laws scarier than mass shootings. That’s the result found by the Chapman University survey of America’s top fears for 2015. Mass shootings ranked just behind germs, but are more fearsome than zombies or clowns. 36.5% of respondents are afraid or very afraid of gun control. Similar numbers are as afraid of war, credit card fraud, and Obamacare. By comparison, only 16.4% are afraid or very afraid of mass shooting. Zombies and clowns are 8.5% and 6.8% respectively.
